Just returned from a midweek glamping stay with a friend and our four children, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It’s the perfect place for kids to enjoy the outdoors in a safe, family-friendly environment – even my teenager put his phone down and joined in toasting marshmallows around the fire!
The tents were spotless and really comfortable, the views were stunning, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s fantastic value for money, and we came away with memories the kids (and us grown-ups) will never forget.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing break, and we’ll 100% be back!
Myself, 3 x friends and 7 x children stayed here for the 1st time for 2 nights for the summer holidays.
We had a lovely time, did a bbq, had a bonfire, did a glow stick party in the dark under the stars! Hired bikes and rode around hadleigh park, visited the farm, and had a few little drinks on the decking under the canopy whilst it rained! All in all camo was lovely, felt like you were a million miles away from anywhere at some points!
Camp was lovely and tidy and the hosts were happy to help!

My children and myself have just visited for the 5th time over the years and they still love it just as much now as they did on their first visit when younger they enjoy all aspects of the lovely Essex glamping area. They love the space and bunk beds in the tents and the decking to sit out on and play games. We do a camp fire and roast marshmallows every night we are there and they love having so much space to run around outside and play. We take bikes too and make the most of the country park being there too alongside the park and have visited with friends and family over the years. Rachel and Wayne are so helpful and friendly and always checking in with people to make sure everything is ok. It is basically camping so yes composite toilets and not the same as being in a hotel but that’s not the idea of it. It is clean and has plenty of space and furniture and duvets and pillows supplied you just need covers. We look forward to coming again next year 🙂
Me and my friends hired out 3 tents and came with our kids. We left the men at home and it was so much fun. The kids loved roasting marshmallows and was so nive to see them off their phones enjoying the outdoors. We took a stroll to Hadleigh castle and watched the sun set. Compost toilets on site which i wasnt too sure about before i went but they were absolutely fine you dont spend any time in them.
Both me and my friends said this is going to be a yearly stay. We only live 10 minutes up the road but we felt like we were miles away.
The lady Rachel was very welcoming and was nipping about getting everyone in with her luggage buggy. We took way too much stuff so will know for next year we dont need it.
Booked this last minute to get away with my son and daughter aged 8 and 10. We had a fab time. Tents were amazing and we didnt expect to have this style of tent. We thought we had a bell tent so we were more than excited on our arrival. These tents are fab!!!!. The staff are amazing and helpful and we loved the whole experience. Will be booking for next year.
