At Essex Glamping, Hadleigh Park, we have created and crafted a unique glamping and camping experience to be enjoyed by all. We are located within the heart of Hadleigh, a few minutes’ drive from Southend-on-Sea, and Leigh-on-Sea, where you can enjoy over 6 miles of sandy beaches, buy fresh seafood and make the most of the seafront and all it has to offer.
Alternatively, you can just relax in the comfort of our comfortable safari tents with small decked veranda where you can peacefully watch the world go by where you are able to reconnect with nature, unplugging yourself from technology and finding refuge from urban existence and everyday life.
Our campsite at Essex Glamping, Hadleigh Park has been carefully selected and offers a modern toilet and shower block, café, bike hire, children’s play area, Olympic mountain bike trails created for 2012 Olympic games or indulge in the fabulous walking trails around the historic monument of Hadleigh Castle, there really is something for everyone.
Because we are passionate about what we do, our goal is to ensure you and your family have a glamping experience to remember and whether you come as a couple or a family you’ll find a whole range of activities and many places you can visit. Perhaps you’ll enjoy chilling out having a picnic, or using the accommodation as a base to explore the local towns, restaurants and shops within the local area, or maybe enjoy the areas of outstanding natural beauty that the park has to offer.
Southend on Sea provides beautiful coastlines and a day chilling on the beach is a perfect place to enjoy quality family time, or if you are feeling slightly more energetic why not take a walk along the longest pleasure pier in the world, there’s so much to choose from. Essex Glamping is proud to be working alongside The Salvation Army to support their long term mission in respect to providing training opportunities and realising the benefits of a heritage site. The Salvation Army who have been a part of the Hadleigh community since 1890. For 122 years, Hadleigh Farm, and later Hadleigh Training Centre, has been a place where The Salvation Army has trained, helped and educated men and women who have experienced difficult times, enabling them to further themselves both personally and professionally.
The Salvations Army’s Hadleigh Farm has evolved over the last 120 years. Today they are a commercial farm, a place of natural beauty, committed to environmental and social progress, and home to an English Heritage site. Essex Glamping and Hadleigh Park is an unlicensed facility and therefore we cannot promote, sell or manufacture alcohol. We are a small family run business and we attract mainly families, Unfortunately, we do not accept large group, or stag or hen parties. Please note that RW Leisure & Glamping limited have the right to cancel a booking if we believe the booking was made with false information.
All of our Safari tents are off grid and provide a perfect place to rest and unwind whatever the weather. During the year the park offers a range of holiday’s activities for families including canoeing, kayaking, archery and lots more, but if you want a tranquil and peaceful relaxing break outside of the high season, then imagine being cosied up with a loved one and try our winter breaks.
